Regina Sunshine Robinson – Born Regina Elizabeth Alford on August 17, 1972, Regina Elizabeth Robinson or as she is known today, Regina “Sunshine” Robinson was raised in Tabor City, NC by her parents Thomas Earl and Geraldine Gore and graduated Tabor City High School. Regina was very active in her community including projects through her home church, Mitchell Sea Missionary Baptist Church in Green Sea, SC. After high school, she attended North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC on an academic scholarship and in 1995 graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Regina ended up pursuing a career in teaching and was employed as a Math Instructor working at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC and with PCG Education, a vendor working inside the Atlanta Public School System.
Regina Sunshine Robinson is the CEO of the Regina Sunshine Global Network (RSGN), a multi-show studio that produces entertaining, motivating content that empowers audiences on Comcast 24, Roku, and online television. Producing shows that empower and encourage like the flagship show The Regina Sunshine Show and Focus Forward with Robin to out of the box shows like, Team BrideTribe Game Show, Sunflowers in Motion Line Dance and Health Awareness Show and The Kurve, RSGN studios in setting the pace with content creation with its show incubator. Author of two books, Regina Sunshine State of Mind and Lessons from My Grandmother’s Lap Anthology, and contributor to “Chicken Soup for the Soul: Curvy & Confident”, Acclaimed Motivational Speaker, Award-winning Talk Show Host, National Workshop Presenter, Trainer to Fortune 500 companies, Empowerment Coach, Certified Educator, and Editor in Chief of BOLD Plus Magazine, Regina Sunshine enjoys helping others to find their true potential and live on purpose.
Before starting RSGN, Regina Sunshine, along with her sister Pamelia Stanley, cofounded EWATE (Empowered Women Accountable To Each Other), a Women’s Empowerment Organization whose main purpose is to empower and encourage women to be all they were created to be in order to fulfill God’s perfect plan for their lives. Their slogan is “We’ll Help You Get Your SASSY Back.” Regina is also CEO of Fiercely SASSY LLC, a motivational product line that carries products representing the positive spirit and message of the EWATE organization. These two companies are the foundation for everything Regina Sunshine.
At the heart of Regina Sunshine Global Network are several community-based initiatives that continue to grow in scope and reach. The Awesome Girl Awards and Young BOSS Awards honor young people aged 5-17 who are excelling in their individual gifts and purpose. The goal is to connect the youth honorees with professionals and leaders in the community who have products, services and information that will enhance their individual journeys. Other programs such as the Living Like A B.O.S.S. Men’s Program, Award Show and Television Show and the BOSS Builders Academy, cofounded by her son Gabriel Robinson, bring together positive African American Men to empower and encourage each other and the community at large. Through RSGN, Regina Sunshine also hosts and teaches a variety of classes including Public Speaking, Talk Show Hosting and Motivational Speaking.
Regina Sunshine Robinson currently resides in Marietta, Ga and attends Enlightened Christian Center under the leadership of Drs. Bryant and LySandra Bell. She continues her mission to be an agent of change and to leave those she encounters better than she found them. In 2018 and 2019, Regina was honored with a total of 4 resolutions from the Georgia House of Representatives in honor of her work with youth and her commitment to creating positive change in the community. In fact on February 20, 2019, she was recognized from the House floor by representatives Valencia Stoval, Mike Glanton Sr., Kimberly Alexander, Able Mable Thomas, and others. On November 16, 2019, Rep. Kimberly Alexander presented Ms. Robinson with an Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award from Sectretary of State Brad Raffensperger. The Atlanta Daily Tribune and Atlanta Daily World named her a 2019 Woman of Excellence. She is also a member of the 19th Edition of the Who’s Who of Black Atlanta.
